Our Services
What we do
Connect
We unify your data sources — spreadsheets, databases, cloud apps and operational systems — into a single, reliable source of truth your team can trust.
Clarify
We design clean, intuitive dashboards and reports that surface the metrics that matter — so you spend less time wrangling data and more time deciding.
Predict
We build forecasting and predictive models that help you anticipate what comes next — from demand and churn to revenue and risk.
Ready to put your data to work?
Let’s chat about how we can turn your data into clearer decisions — book a free 30-minute discovery call.
A few hours of consulting and a small AI tool can quietly remove hundreds of hours of manual work. A few of the things we build for clients:
Documents → data: pulling key figures out of PDFs, statements and forms automatically, so teams stop re-typing what a machine can read.
Reporting on autopilot: turning a messy monthly spreadsheet shuffle into a dashboard that updates itself.
Inbox/triage: sorting and routing incoming requests automatically so the right person gets the right thing without manual sorting.
F.A.Q.
Common questions about working with ialytics on your data and BI projects.
We work on the full spectrum of data and BI projects — from one-off dashboards and KPI scorecards through to multi-month engagements covering data strategy, warehouse design, pipeline engineering and forecasting models. Typical clients come to us when their spreadsheets have grown beyond what they can manage, when reporting takes too long every month, or when leadership wants real numbers behind a decision instead of a gut feel. We’re equally happy embedding alongside an existing team or running a project end-to-end.
Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute discovery call so we can understand your data, your team and what success actually looks like. From there we’ll send a short proposal with a fixed scope, timeline and price — no open-ended hourly billing surprises. Most projects run in two-week sprints with a working demo at the end of each one, so you see progress (and can steer it) instead of waiting months for a big reveal. When the build is done we hand over documentation, train your team and stay on for a support window so nothing breaks the moment we step away.
We’re tool-agnostic and pick what fits your team and budget rather than pushing a single vendor. On the visualisation side we work across Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio and Metabase. For data warehousing and pipelines we use BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, dbt, Airflow and Fivetran, and we’re comfortable pulling from common sources like Xero, Sage, HubSpot, Shopify, Google Analytics and most SQL databases. For forecasting and predictive work we use Python with the usual scientific stack. If you’ve already invested in a platform, we’ll build on it.
Three things, honestly. First, we’re senior practitioners — you won’t get handed off to a junior after the kickoff call. Second, we care more about decisions than dashboards: every chart we build is tied to a question someone actually needs to answer, and we’ll happily tell you when a project isn’t worth doing. Third, we’re based in Cape Town and work South African business hours, which means real conversations instead of overnight email threads. We also keep our retainers small on purpose so each client gets proper attention rather than being one of fifty accounts on a roster.
